• Former Wembley paramedic celebrates 50 years with London Ambulance Service

  A former paramedic who spent part of his career working out of Wembley has celebrated an incredible 50 years with the London Ambulance Service.
  Noel Thomas, 67, joined the service as a 17-year-old cadet in 1976 and has since cared for generations of Londoners.
  During his career, he worked out of Park Royal, Willesden, Wembley and Brent, before later becoming a workshop technician preparing ambulances for crews.

• North-west London property searched as two arrested in Iran-linked investigation

  Two people have been arrested by counter-terrorism officers as part of an investigation into suspected National Security Act offences linked to Iran.
  The Metropolitan Police said a 60-year-old man was arrested at an address in north-west London on Wednesday, 9 September. A 42-year-old woman was arrested separately at an address in north London.

  Headstone Manor & Museum has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award after a community heritage project involving thousands of people across Harrow.

  JFS in Kenton has received five “Exceptional” grades following its latest inspection by Ofsted. The Jewish secondary school and sixth form, based on The Mall in Harrow, has more than 2,000 pupils and is one of the largest schools in the borough.

• TV star to visit Harrow Leisure Centre as £1.4m transformation unveiled

  Harrow Leisure Centre will mark the completion of a £1.4 million refurbishment this weekend, with residents invited to see the upgraded facilities during a special community open day.
