Lifestyle clothing retailer Boden has seen its full year sales rise by 13% to £347.1 million as pre-tax profit edged up to £27.3 million from £26.2 million in the previous year. -
Lululemon brings Klarna to stores: does the future of BNPL lie in physical shops?
Last week Lululemon introduced Klarna payments across its physical UK and German stores.
The buy now pay later (BNPL) service has already been available for shoppers on the Lululemon website for more than five years.
However, Klarna described the decision as a “natural next step in that relationship” which reflected its “strategic move beyond the browser”.
Appealing to a younger audience

Discount retailer The Works saw profits soar 47 per cent to £14 million in its latest full year results, as stronger sales, improved margins and cost savings helped to offset its higher wage and tax costs.
The brand attributed its performance to its “screen-free” strategy paying off. It also noted that supplier negotiations, tighter stock controls, improved promotional markdowns and a more favourable product mix helped to boost its margins.

Hearing aid retailers Hidden Hearing and Amplifon UK came together to rebrand as Audika at the start of July, as they sought to strengthen the care they offered.
