  Dr. Anton Lim, the dog’s veterinarian, announced on Monday that Kabang had died in her sleep. He had been taking care of the dog since 2015 after Kabang’s owner passed away.

  RANCHO CORDOVA (CBS13) – The body of a teenage boy who went missing while swimming in the American River Saturday has been located and identified.
  The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate the body of 17-year-old Melino Liu, of Sacramento, at a deep spot that had poor visibility using a “remotely operated vehicle,” Sacramento Metro Fire Department public information officer Chris Vestal told CBS13.

  ISLETON (CBS13) – The United States Coast Guard has suspended its search for a man who fell in the Delta without a life jacket and went missing near the Mokelumne River Bridge south of Isleton on Sunday.
