• Experts: Gas Prices In Sacramento Will Hover Above $3 But Below $4 This Summer

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Experts say gas prices are slowly but surely getting lower after pushing past $4 in California this year.
  According to GasBuddy.com, prices for a gallon of gas in the Sacramento area have fallen by about 4.4 cents over the past week. With prices hovering at about $3.94 a gallon, however, the average is still 30.6 cents per gallon higher than it was a year ago.

• Milk Tanker Rolls Over Near Turlock

  TURLOCK (CBS13) – A tanker hauling milk rolled over and spilled some of its load after a driver ran a red light and crashed into it near Turlock.
  The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. Monday near Geer and Keyes roads.
  California Highway Patrol says the tanker was entering the intersection when a Honda driver ran through a red light. Noticing the Honda coming into the intersection, the tanker driver veered sharply to the left.

• Lyft Driver Attacked Near Sacramento International Airport

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A Lyft driver was attacked near the Sacramento International Airport early Tuesday morning.
  The incident happened just after 2 a.m. near the ampm on Airport Boulevard.
  The driver told CBS13 that someone attacked him with a stick and shattered the passenger rear-window of his car.
  After a short scuffle with the driver, the suspect ran away, but Sacramento County sheriff deputies were able to track the suspect down.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A Sacramento man says he was attacked by two women who stole his dog. It happened Wednesday evening.
  The man and his family are checking animal shelters and using social media to track down their dog, Angel. The victim says he went to the Shell station on Del Paso Boulevard and El Camino Avenue all the time to grab a bite or a drink, but on Wednesday evening his trip was anything but routine.

• Yuba City Chase Suspect Who Jumped Into Feather River Still Missing

  YUBA CITY (CBS13) – The man who allegedly led Yuba City police on a chase this weekend and then jumped into the Feather River still hasn’t been found.
  The incident happened on Saturday night when the man was driving. An officer attempted to pull the man over, but he allegedly refused to stop. He ditched his car near the driver and jumped in.

• Foxes Injured In Camp Fire Released Back Into The Wild

  Two foxes that were injured in the Camp Fire in Paradise have recovered and were recently released back to the wild.
  The grey foxes were found in December with badly burned paws and nails. They were treated by veterinarians and released in the Big Chico Creek Ecological Reserve, which isn’t far from Paradise, according to a statement from Gold Country Wildlife Rescue.
