  OROVILLE (CBS13) – Deputies are keeping an eye out for lost and loose pets in areas evacuated due to the Camp Fire.
  Using donations from the North Valley Animal Disaster Group, deputies are carrying pet food just in case they come across a wayward pet. Deputies are documenting where the lost pets are found.

• Library At Stanislaus State Closing For At Least Two Years

  TURLOCK (CBS13) – The campus library at Stanislaus State in Turlock is closing its doors soon after students finish their finals this spring.
  The structure is getting a complete makeover to provide more space as the university experiences a growth.

• Reno-Tahoe Officials Decline To Go Forward With Bid For 2030 Winter Olympics

  SOUTH LAKE TAHOE (CBS13) – It’s going to be a while before another Winter Olympic Games comes to Lake Tahoe.
  The Reno-Tahoe Winter Games Coalition released a statement on Monday, saying they had declined to go forward with a bid for the 2030 games.
  “The RTWGC did not come to this decision lightly. However, it was a necessary decision,” the group wrote.

• Search On For Suspect After Shooting Leaves 1 Dead In North Sacramento County

  NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) – Deputies are asking for help in finding the suspect in a shooting that left a man dead over the weekend.
  The incident happened a little before 1 a.m. Saturday along the 4900 block of Little Oak Lane.
  According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the scene to investigate a shooting and soon found a man who had been shot at least once.

• Car Crashes Into Midtown Sacramento Construction Site

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A building under construction in Midtown Sacramento may need to be inspected after a car crashed into it.
  The incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. Monday at the corner of 16th and H streets.
  Sacramento Fire says the car crashed through the fence around the site and damaged part of a beam involved in the building construction.
  Rescue crews were called out to help secure the site as the car was removed.
