    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS/AP) — The man accused of murdering his two children, wife and his wife’s niece, will go before a judge today.
    Salvador Vasquez Oliva was arrested in San Francisco, hours after the bodies of four people were found in a quiet Sacramento neighborhood last week.
    He is scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m.

    COLUMBIA, Calif. – (CBS13) – Rescuers were able to save a lost dog from a 40-foot vertical shaft in Tuolumne County on Sunday, thanks to a curious hiker.

    ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Police are searching for the man who robbed a bank over the weekend in Elk Grove.
    Officials say a man walked into the Chase Bank on Elk Grove Boulevard around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon and gave the teller a note demanding money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left.
    He is described as a white man around 50-years-old, 210 pounds, and 5 foot 8 inches tall.
