    MODESTO (CBS13) – Police have made arrests after two recent shootings along a single road in Modesto.
    Wednesday night, a 26-year-old man was shot and killed on East Rumble Road while celebrating his birthday. Nearly 16 hours later, officers investigating the man’s death saw another shooting.
    The man killed has been identified as Joseph Jackson.
    Investigators believe Jackson was shot in front of his house by 20-year-old Johnny Badie. Detectives arrested Badie on Thursday.

    Stockton Woman’s Death Now Classified As Homicide
    STOCKTON (CBS13) – Police say they’re now investigating a woman’s death from back in May as a homicide.
    The incident happened back on May 30. Officers responded to an apartment a domestic disturbance call early that morning at an apartment along the 3400 block Pacific Avenue and found one unit fully engulfed in flames.
    Firefighters went into the battle the flames and soon discovered the body of a woman inside.
    The woman has since been identified as 40-year-old Jamie Soares.
