  HARRISBURG (KDKA) — The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 996 new coronavirus cases and nine additional deaths in the past 72 hours.
  This brings the statewide total to 1,216,763 cases and 27,795 total COVID-19 related deaths since the pandemic began.

  Of the newly reported cases, the Health Department says 64 are confirmed and 18 are probable cases.
