  FARMINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) – A woman from Wexford who worked at Nemacolin Wildlife Adventure is suing her former employer.
  The suit comes after a Himalayan black bear almost killed her while she was performing a trick with it two years ago for a tour group.
  According to the Trib, Megan Alborg was to get a high five from the bear when it mauled her arm. The bear had been at the resort for nine years.

  LORAIN, Ohio (AP) — A toddler sitting in his high chair was shot in the head and wounded by gunfire at his family’s home in northeastern Ohio, authorities said.
  Benjamin Richardson, 26, of Lorain, was charged with felonious assault in the shooting, which occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday in Lorain. It wasn’t known Thursday if he has retained an attorney.

  PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A series of glass collection events are set to happen throughout the region.
  Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced Thursday that the county has partnered with the Pennsylvania Resources Council to offer its Traveling Glass Recycling Bin Program at eight of the county’s nine parks.
