  No, Ian MacKaye has not finally decided to sell band merch. This Fugazi is the streetwear brand and are opening their first brick and mortar store in the Lower East Side this Saturday (4/27).   Black Country, New Road are on a post-Coachella East Coast tour, which stopped in NYC on Wednesday night (4/24) for a show at Brooklyn Paramount. Spread out across the big stage in a semi-circle, the band still sounded cohesive, delivering gorgeous harmonies as they played songs from last year’s live album and concert film, Live at Bush Hall.   Last week, Kevin Morby and Cassie Ramone announced they were getting their early-2010s band The Babies back together for shows in NYC (Warsaw on 9/24 with Joanna Sternberg) on and Los Angeles (Teragram Ballroom on 9/18 with Matt & Kim project PG14). Those shows sold out and they’ve added more.

  Emilio Garcia, who says he worked as a camera operator for Megan Thee Stallion starting around July of 2018, has filed a lawsuit against the rapper, Pitchfork reports, accusing her of harassment and creating a “hostile work environment.” In the suit, Garcia says he quit his previous job to work for Megan full time in September of 2019, and was told “unexpectedly” in June of 2023 that “his services would no longer be required by” her.

  Leeway vocalist Eddie Sutton, aka Eddie Leeway, has passed away after being diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021. A post on his Instagram says that he “passed peacefully in his sleep” on Friday, April 19.
