    The annual Make-A-Wish Mississippi Radiothon is returning to the local airwaves as Boswell Media teams up once again with the organization to help transform the lives of local children facing critical illnesses.
    Friday, Oct. 9, Breezy 103’s Breck Riley and Gina Kavali will broadcast live on location from Kangaroo Crossing on Highway 12 in Kosciusko from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    The event brings the community together to raise vital funds for wish kids across central Mississippi.

    KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A single-wide mobile home was already fully involved in smoke and flames by the time Attala County firefighters arrived at a fire Saturday morning on Youth Center Rd.
    They responded quickly when called out just before 9:30 a.m. after a woman called and said her place was on fire.
    When firefighters arrived they reported everyone who had been inside was outside in the yard. No injuries were reported.

    KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A car was reported to have flipped in a wreck Friday night in Attala County.
    Dispatchers got an automatic notification and confirmed the wreck, which was about 11 p.m. on Hwy. 14 east near Doty Springs Church and the intersection with Hwy. 411.
    Once deputies arrived they confirmed the wreck, but said there were no major injuries and fire and ambulance crews were turned around.
