    The annual Make-A-Wish Mississippi Radiothon is returning to the local airwaves as Boswell Media teams up once again with the organization to help transform the lives of local children facing critical illnesses.

    Mobile Home Burns Saturday Morning
    KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A single-wide mobile home was already fully involved in smoke and flames by the time Attala County firefighters arrived at a fire Saturday morning on Youth Center Rd.
    They responded quickly when called out just before 9:30 a.m. after a woman called and said her place was on fire.
    When firefighters arrived they reported everyone who had been inside was outside in the yard. No injuries were reported.
    The fire was reported out within about 15 minutes.

    The person who called it in was concerned that a mobile home they knew to be in the same area might be in danger.
    The call came in to dispatchers about 2:20 p.m. The fire was along Hwy. 429.
    When firefighters got there they did not report any structures were in danger and they reported the fire contained within a half hour of the initial call.

    SALLIS, Miss.–A Woods fire was reported early Saturday morning in the Sallis area.
    The person who called it in reported the fire in the woods, but was concerned about a mobile home that was in the same part of the woods.
    The fire was along Hwy. 429 and was called in about 2:20 a.m.
    Firefighters did not report any structures in danger when they arrived and reported the fire was contained withing a half hour of the initial call.

    Car Flips in Friday Night Wreck
    KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–A car was reported to have flipped in a wreck Friday night in Attala County.
    Dispatchers got an automatic notification and confirmed the wreck, which was about 11 p.m. on Hwy. 14 east near Doty Springs Church and the intersection with Hwy. 411.
    Once deputies arrived they confirmed the wreck, but said there were no major injuries and fire and ambulance crews were turned around.
    Only one car was involved in the wreck.
