  An Alabama grandmother was hosting a Mother’s Day celebration when she was shot and killed in front of her grandchildren, per PEOPLE.
  64-year-old Gloria Crews died on Sunday (May 14) after someone opened fire at her outdoor party in Montgomery, Alabama. Montgomery police and fire medics responded to the shooting at around 7:02 p.m. but were unable to revive Crews. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
