  LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) – A man accused of crashing into a car and injuring a mother and her children while fleeing police in a stolen vehicle appeared before a judge on Thursday.
  According to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, Adam Fulford was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Guns and firearms were found in his Fort Collins apartment last week. He allegedly took off in a taxi and shot the cab driver in the leg.

  ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4) – The Colorado Department of Transportation is proposing another extended closure of Highway 34 in the Big Thompson Canyon and not everyone believes it’s a good idea.

  LOS ANGELES (AP) — Don Rickles, the big-mouthed, bald-headed “Mr. Warmth” whose verbal assaults endeared him to audiences and peers and made him the acknowledged grandmaster of insult comedy, died Thursday. He was 90.

  DENVER (CBS4)– Police in Denver arrested the driver suspected of running down three people early Thursday morning.
  Investigators believe the driver intentionally struck three people in the parking lot outside “Stone The Club” a night club in the 4800 block of Morrison Road about 2:15 a.m.

  DENVER (CBS4) – The Colorado Department of Transportation is now offering switchable HOV transponders for free for commuters who use the carpool lanes on Interstate 25 and U.S. 36.

  Drivers previously had to pay $15 to get a transponder even if all they planned to do was use the carpool lane.
