    DENVER (CBS4) – A horse named Cupcake is safe and sound after a terrifying afternoon stuck in the mud at Cherry Creek State Park.
    Rescue crews arrived Thursday afternoon to what looked like a hopeless scene. The 13-year-old horse was laying on her side in thick mud and under a foot and a half of water.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Several people were injured early Friday morning in a hit and run in Denver’s River North neighborhood.

    BRIGHTON, Colo (CBS4) – In the gym of the Shopneck Boys & Girls Club, more than a dozen rings are set up for the Battle of the Bots. Up to four teams from each of the Metro Area clubs are on hand to find out who will get bragging rights for having the top bot.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Cooler and very moist air has backed into northeast Colorado thanks to a few different clusters of thunderstorms that moved from Wyoming and into western Nebraska and Kansas.
