• Grass Fire Burns 1,000 Acres On Fort Carson Army Post

  COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)– Firefighters rushed to a grass fire burning on land at the Fort Carson Army Post on Saturday.
  The fire burned about 1,000 acres on the campus of the Army post, located south of Colorado Springs.

• Lawmakers Consider Organic Labels For Marijuana

  DENVER (CBS4)– A committee in the state House has endorsed a bill to create a program to certify marijuana as organic.The Public Health Care and Human Services committee sent the bill to the finance committee on Friday. The bill directs the state agricultural department to get a third party to draft certification regulations.

  AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– An SUV crashed into an ice cream shop in Aurora late Thursday night.The SUV crashed into the Baskin Robbins at Havana and Mississippi. Fortunately no one was hurt but the impact shattered a window and damaged a wall.The driver stayed on scene.   COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A tow truck driver escaped injury after someone fired several shots following a dispute over an impounded vehicle.

According to the BBB, scammers are hi-jacking the names and license numbers of legitimate businesses in the Denver metro area.
