  DENVER (AP/CBS) – A former surgery technician has pleaded not guilty to federal charges of stealing painkillers intended for patients at a Colorado hospital.

  SUPERIOR, Colo. (CBS4) – A wildfire that came within 50 yards of some houses in Superior is fully contained.
  The fire broke out on Friday at 11:30 a.m. near Highway 128 and McCaslin Boulevard in Boulder County.

• Accident Closes 1 Of 2 Detours Around Glenwood Canyon

  OAK CREEK, Colo. (CBS4) – A traffic accident had the northern detour route around Interstate 70’s Glenwood Canyon blocked Friday afternoon.
  Both lanes of Colorado Highway 131 were stopped south of Oak Creek, which is south of Steamboat Springs, at approximately 11:30 a.m.

• Charitable Fraud Could Soon Lead To Bigger Penalties

  DENVER (CBS4) – An effort is underway to crack down on people who take advantage of donors wanting to help a good cause.

  MORRISON, Colo. (CBS4) – The corridor through Colorado’s mountains, has been closed in Glenwood Canyon since Monday due to rock slides, and it’s creating more than a bump for travelers.

  BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – There’s a proposal to put a wine and beer garden in a popular Boulder shopping area.
  A new rendering was released this week that shows what it would look like on the Twenty Ninth Street mall.

• I-25 Reopens After IKEA Sign’s Wind Damage Is Checked Out

  CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – Wind damaged the sign outside IKEA Thursday evening and road crews closed both directions of Interstate 25 for more than two hours as a precaution.
  There were no reports of injuries and no pieces of the sign fell onto the road, but cracks were visible on the inside sections of the large sign.
