• Man Injured By Fire While Sitting On Tractor

  NORTHGLENN, Colo. (AP) – Police in Northglenn are trying to determine how a man was injured in a fire while sitting on his tractor.
  The police department said in an email that authorities were called to a parking lot on Thursday after a witness saw the man and rushed to his aid.
  The witness grabbed a fire extinguisher from his truck and smothered the flames.
  The unidentified man was taken to a hospital, where the extent of his injuries was not available.

  The Nationwide building has the message “Good Luck Peyton” lit up on the side of the 38-story headquarters in Columbus.

  DENVER (CBS4)– An RTD supervisor was found guilty of accepting bribes in connection with his official duties.Kenneth P. Hardin of Aurora was found guilty of bribery on Wednesday. Hardin, 62, is scheduled to be sentenced on May 16 and could face a penalty of not more than 10 years in federal prison and up to $250,000 fine per count for each of the three counts of conviction.

• Teen Driver Accused Of Hitting, Killing Broomfield High Student Pleads Guilty

  BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) – A teen driver has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in a car crash that killed a teenager more than a year ago.
  The crash happened in November of 2014 just outside Broomfield High School. Sixteen-year-old Chad Britton was killed when another teen crashed into him while Britton was getting into his car.
  Prosecutors say the driver, who was 17 at the time, smoked marijuana before the crash. His name hasn’t been released because he was charged as a juvenile.

  DENVER (CBS4) – A school bus carrying dozens of students caught fire in Denver Wednesday afternoon.
  Marlene Desmond with Denver Public Schools told CBS4 the 38 students and driver got out of the bus safely.
  The students attend University Preparatory School.
  Another bus came and picked up the students and a parents were provided a letter about the fire.
