  ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Peyton Manning flew to Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday for a second opinion on his left foot and Broncos coach Gary Kubiak announced Brock Osweiler would get his second straight start this week.

  ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Law enforcement officers from across the country on Monday honored a Colorado State Patrol trooper who investigators say was killed by a vehicle driven by a retired Army colonel who they suspect had been drinking.

• Chipotle Bounces Back After End-Of-Week Sell-Off

  NEW YORK (AP) — Denver-based Chipotle rebounded from a heavy sell-off in shares to end last week after it was discovered that the E. coli outbreak connected to restaurant chain had spread from the Pacific Northwest to a number of other states.
  In all, 45 people in six states have been affected, with 43 of those saying they ate at Chipotle the week before they became sick.

• 1 Killed In Shooting On Peoria, Traffic Slowed

  DENVER (CBS4) – One person was killed in a shooting early Monday morning.
  Police arrived on scene at Peoria Street and East 47th Avenue at 4:45 a.m. to find one person in a car shot. That person was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
  The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
  Northbound Peoria Street was shut down at 4:45 a.m. while southbound remained open.
  There is not yet a suspect description, and officers are interviewing neighbors.

  DENVER (CBS4) – The suspect in a police standoff is dead after an exchange of gunfire Sunday night.
  It began Sunday afternoon when police received a call at 5:30 p.m. about shots fired on South Alcott Street near West Dakota Avenue.

  DENVER (CBS4) – Police are investigating a possible kidnapping in Denver’s Montbello neighborhood.
  According to police, the incident happened Saturday afternoon when a juvenile was forced into a car in the area of East Elmendorf Place and Scranton Street.

  NORTHGLENN, Colo. (CBS4) – Two families and their pets made it out safely from a house fire in Northglenn Sunday morning.
  The fire broke out at the house located on Pearl Street near 116th Avenue.
  One family will be displaced Sunday night and is getting help from the American Red Cross.
