    HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – Police say a Hartford woman has died from injuries she suffered in a hit-and-run.
    Police say 60-year-old Felicita Ayala was struck early Sunday morning in Hartford.
    Officers found her lying unresponsive in the southbound lane with injuries to her head and legs.
    She was pronounced dead early Tuesday morning at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center.
    A witness told police that Ayala was struck as she was crossing a street and that the vehicle fled north.
