  WASHINGTON (AP) — John Glenn, whose 1962 flight as the first U.S. astronaut to orbit the Earth made him an all-American hero and propelled him to a long career in the U.S. Senate, died Thursday. The last survivor of the original Mercury 7 astronauts was 95.

• Burglar Caught On Camera At U-Haul Facility

  DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police are searching for a burglar who broke into a U-Haul storage facility.
  The crime happened on Nov. 17 at the business, which is located on the 600 block of South Havana Street.
  Police say the man, who was caught on a security camera, stole items from someone’s storage unit. He is seen in the images from the camera carrying a ladder.
