  CANNON BALL, N.D. (AP) — U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Sunday that it won’t grant an easement for the Dakota Access oil pipeline in southern North Dakota.
  The decision is a victory for the several thousand camped near the construction site, who’ve said for months that the four-state, $3.8 billion project would threaten a water source and cultural sites.

  WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – A Westminster High School teacher has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault on a child.

  JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Bradley Roby returned an interception 51 yards for a touchdown, helping the Denver Broncos beat the mistake-prone Jacksonville Jaguars 20-10 on Sunday and gain ground in the AFC playoff picture.

• CDOT Hopes New ‘Smart Signs’ Will Help Improve Safety On I-25

  DENVER (CBS4) – The Colorado Department of Transportation is testing new smart signs to improve safety along Interstate 25.
  The signs warn drivers about traffic conditions ahead. If there’s an accident the signs will tell drivers to slow down and show which lanes are closed so vehicles can move over in time.

  THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) – An investigation of shots fired by a citizen resulted in an officer-involved shooting in Thornton Saturday night.

  PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) – About 450 gallons of hazardous wastewater leaked from a tank at a Colorado plant where chemical weapons are being destroyed, the Army said Friday.
