• Buffalo city worker stabs dog out for a walk on Saturday morning

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)-  Buffalo police arrested a city worker Saturday morning after a woman out for a walk says he stabbed her dog.
    The incident began near Mineral Spring Road and Frank Avenue. South District officers say 46-year-old James Craddock got out of a city vehicle, exchanged words with the woman and then stabbed her dog.
    Two other individuals fled in the city vehicle but were apprehended a short time later in the 1300 block of South Park Avenue.

  • Police investigating robbery at Bank of America on Elmwood

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying a man who robbed a bank Saturday.
    The Bank of America located in the 400 block of Elmwood Avenue was robbed just before 10:30 a.m.
    Detectives say a white male entered the bank, demanded money from a teller and then fled on foot after making off with an undisclosed amount of money.

    Clark,74, was elected District Attorney in 2000 and served two, four-year terms.

    (CNN) – All people living near the Guajataca River in northwest Puerto Rico should evacuate immediately because of an “imminent dam break,” the National Weather Service in San Juan said Friday afternoon.“All Areas surrounding the Guajataca River should evacuate NOW.     CORTLAND, N.Y. (WROC-TV) – Charles Tan is in federal custody, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Southwick. Tan was taken into custody after crossing into the United States over the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge on Friday.

  • Falls water crisis avoided, busted 24″ pipe shut off

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) – A massive water main break overnight at the Goodyear plant in Niagara Falls sent hundreds of gallons of water gushing into the air.
    City officials said a 24-inch water main at the plant on 56th Street blew, sending water gushing into the street. Niagara Falls Water Board Superintendent Bob Drury dispatched a supervisor to the scene.
