  • Neighbors fed up after drunk driver damages a dozen parked cars

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man is facing charges after Buffalo Police say he struck and damaged 12 parked vehicles overnight Saturday.
    Police say 36-year-old Joshua Jones hit vehicles parked on Taft Place near Hertel Avenue around 4 a.m.
    Jones fled the scene and was apprehended by officers shortly after. He is charged with DWI, leaving the scene of a property accident and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

    Police say the man struck vehicles parked on Taft Place near Hertel Avenue.

  • Basketball court named after City Honors teen who passed away suddenly

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The basketball court at Buffalo’s Masten Park has been named after Lamont Yancey, Jr., a City Honors Junior Varsity basketball player who suffered a medical emergency on the court in Sept. 2015 and died.

    St. Louis police say they have made 13 arrests and that four officers have been injured in protests following the not-guilty verdict of a former white police officer charged with murder in the death of a black suspect.
