    (AP) – Three more people have been confirmed as Harvey-related deaths by the Harris County medical examiner.
    The new entries in a list kept by the Harris County Institute for Forensic Sciences brings to 42 the confirmed death toll from Harvey, one week after it slammed into the middle Texas Gulf coast.
    Harris County is home to Houston and has so far accounted for 28 deaths from the storm.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 33-year-old Buffalo man has been charged with two counts of DWI and first-degree vehicular assault in connection with a May crash on Bailey Avenue that left the driver and passenger of another car with serious injuries.
    Marshawn Levy was behind the wheel May 13 on Bailey Avenue at East Delevan when he struck a car that was stopped in the southbound lane to make a turn onto East Delevan, the Erie County DA’s office said.

    OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Beginning Sept. 5, NYSDOT will be repaving a portion of Interstate 86 in the towns of Hinsdale and Olean and the city of Olean in Cattaraugus County.
    Motorists should expect to encounter daily lane closures on Interstate 86 westbound between Exit 27 and Exit 26 to allow for milling and paving. The work is expected to take six weeks.

    The Amigone crematory on Sheridan Drive shut down several years ago. Neighbors complained about the smell and ash and fought to keep it closed.
    Amigone Funeral Home received a permit from Department of Environmental Conservation to reopen its crematory but has yet to get the green light from the town of Tonawanda.
