• Jamestown Police make arrest after finding body of man in driveway

    JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB)- Jamestown Police found the body of Michael Bull laying face down in a driveway on 6th Street early Saturday morning.
    An investigation revealed that Bull’s cause of death was blunt force trauma.
    Police charged 51-year-old Brian Korzeniewski with second degree murder and he is awaiting arraignment.

  • Bicyclist suffers serious injuries in Saturday morning collision with car

    TOWN OF LEROY, N.Y. (WIVB)- A bicyclist suffered serious injuries after colliding with a car Saturday morning.
    The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office says 73-year-old Darwin Matthews was riding his bike north on Route 5 when he failed to yield right of way to an eastbound vehicle.
    Matthews was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious physical injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved was treated at the scene and released.
     
     
     
  • 7-year-old dies in Niagara Falls house fire

    NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB)- Niagara Falls Firefighters responded to calls of a house fire on South Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.
    Two adults and 13 children were able to safely escape the home. Niagara Falls Police tell News 4 that a 7 year-old child died inside the home.
    Red Cross volunteers are providing emergency assistance to the family.
