    They’re part of the upcoming exhibition “Wanderlust: Actions, Traces, Journeys 1967-2017” at UB Art Galleries.

  • Two adults dead, two children rescued from Zoar Valley

    GOWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB)- Rope rescue team, Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency crews searched for hours on Sunday for a family of four after a hiker reported discovering bodies in Zoar Valley.
    The hiker called authorities Sunday afternoon after discovering several bodies on the gorge floor. The hiker stayed on the phone with dispatch and was able to describe the location so emergency crews could locate the victims.

    GOWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB)- Rope rescue team, Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies and emergency crews are currently on scene at Zoar Valley.
    A hiker called authorities Sunday afternoon after discovering 3 victims on the valley floor of the gorge.
    One of the victim’s was a child who was flown by Mercy Flight to Women and Children’s Hospital.
    The two other victims were adults and deceased.

  • Lancaster man shot in downtown Buffalo early Sunday morning

    BUFFALO, N.Y.(WIVB)- Buffalo police are investigating a shooting that occurred on South Park Ave. around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.    
    Police say a 27-year-old Lancaster man was shot in the leg. He was taken to ECMC where he was treated and released.
    It is unknown if any arrests were made.

  • Fire at Erie County Fair

    HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — A fire broke out at a chicken stand at the Erie County Fair Saturday night. Fire fighters responded quickly, as propane tanks were in the area.
    Gas was shut off in the area. No one was injured, and the scene was secured within about 30 minutes.

  • Chicken stand fire under investigation at Erie County Fair

    HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — Fire crews are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at Weidner’s Chicken and Steak food stand at the Erie County Fair Saturday night.
    Officials told News 4 the fire started around 8 pm and the stand was fully engulfed.
    Security immediately moved people out of the Kiddieland area and secured the site.
    Fire crews say it took about 20 minuted to put the fire out. They had to shut off all the gas and secure the nearby propane tanks.

  • Buffalo Police Looking to Identify Burglary Suspect

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- Buffalo Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a burglary suspect.
    The suspect is accused of robbing a liquor store Saturday morning on the 400 block of Niagara Street.
    Police say the suspect broke a window and stole a cash register with $100 in it.
    Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call or text Buffalo Police Department’s confidential tip line at 847-2255.
