  AUSTIN (KXAN) — Texas Oncology and the non-profit group Re: Cancer hosted an indoor cycling fundraiser Saturday to benefit people who have been diagnosed with all types of cancer.

  AUSTIN (KXAN) – The city of Austin has reviewed its own asbestos program and found numerous failures and deficiencies that may have led to exposures at four separate departments in the past two years.

• Police: 2 officers killed responding to 911; suspect held

  WESTERVILLE, Ohio (AP) — Westerville police have confirmed that two officers have been fatally shot Saturday at a home in this Columbus suburb.
  A police statement says the officers responded to a 911 hang-up call around 11:30 a.m. and were shot after they arrived at a residence.

  TOMBALL, Texas – Two people are dead in an apparent carbon monoxide poisoning, reports KPRC. The report also says that two Precinct 4 Deputies were transported to the hospital.
  The incident was reported around 11 a.m. in the 14000 block of Columbia Key.

• Woman may have given birth in airport bathroom, left baby behind with handwritten note

  TUSCON, Ariz. (WFLA) – Authorities in Arizona are searching for the mother of a newborn baby who was left with a note in an airport bathroom, The Washington Post reported.
  Surveillance video released by the Tuscon Airport Authority shows a woman arrive at the airport carrying what appears to be a baby wrapped in a blanket. Authorities say she left the airport without her baby boy.

• Police: Man accidentally shoots San Marcos apartment neighbor through wall

  SAN MARCOS, Texas (KXAN) — A man was injured when he was inside his apartment Thursday afternoon and was shot in the arm by a neighbor.
  A single bullet went through a wall at the Thompson San Marcos apartment complex at 1655 Mill St. around 5:14 p.m., according to San Marcos police.
