  WASHINGTON (AP) – Airlines are running late more often than last year, but they are canceling fewer flights and complaints are down sharply, according to the latest government figures.

  WASHINGTON (AP) – The U.S. military says it intercepted two Russian bombers in international airspace off Alaska’s coast.
  Navy Commander Gary Ross, a Pentagon spokesman, says a pair of F-22 Raptor aircraft intercepted the Russian TU-95 Bear bombers on Monday.
  Ross says the intercept was “safe and professional.”

• During handgun sale, 19-year-old wounded in apparent accidental shooting

  What allegedly began as a late night handgun sale ended with a 19-year-old suffering a gunshot wound in downtown Juneau.
  According to a Juneau Police Department news release, the 19-year-old was at the Wharf Building on Monday night to meet another man to buy a handgun.
  The two men, whom police did not identify, were examining the loaded weapon when it went off, the statement said.

  PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) – One of the last surviving veterans of the sinking of the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor has been reunited with his shipmates.
  Raymond Haerry was interred on the ship in a ceremony that his granddaughter says was solemn and beautiful.

  KODIAK, Alaska (AP) – An Alaska man has been found guilty of murder for the November 2015 killing of Steven McCaulley.
  The Kodiak Daily Mirror reports Steven Ridenour could face up to 99 years in prison for the first-degree murder charge he received Thursday.
  Court records show he was also found guilty of attempted murder, first-degree assault and tampering with evidence.
