  Two Juneau residents are facing drug charges after police served a search warrant Wednesday at their Ketchikan hotel room and allegedly found heroin and methamphetamine.

  National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration researchers who are studying the decline of Steller sea lions in Alaska have turned to a new venue for assistance.

  A Kodiak farmer has discovered seeds from an invasive plant species prohibited in Alaska in a popular brand of poultry feed.

  Necropsy results have been released for two dogs that died unexpectedly on the trail during this year’s Iditarod.
