    The conservancy that successfully sued to block the Banning Ranch coastal development in Newport Beach will receive $1.25 million in legal fees from the developer, according to a mediated settlement announced by the two sides in the long-running dispute.
    Both the Banning Ranch Conservancy and the owner-developer, Newport Banning Ranch LLC, said they would now work together to determine the future of the 401-acre site, the largest undeveloped, privately owned coastal parcel in Orange County.

    Milos Teodosic suffered a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot during the second quarter of the Clippers’ victory Tuesday over the Milwaukee Bucks and will be sidelined for an indefinite period, the team announced before it faced the Trail Blazers on Friday in Portland.
    Teodosic will be re-evaluated in two weeks, which means he’s likely out for the rest of the regular season.
