    An Anaheim man was fatally struck by a passing tow truck Saturday while changing a tire on his vehicle at the 10/210 freeway interchange in Redlands.
    Eduardo Gutierrez, 55, was stopped off the westbound 10 at the exit to the westbound 210, according to a San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office news release. He and his vehicle were hit by the tow truck about 2:30 p.m.
    Gutierrez was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at 3:07 p.m., the news release said.

    NEWPORT BEACH  Patients at a skilled-care nursing facility were evacuated Sunday morning after a two-alarm fire broke out, Newport Beach Fire officials said.
    At 9:52 a.m., a fire alarm and later smoke were the first reports of a possible fire at the Flagship Healthcare Center at 460 Flagship Road.

    Four-car crash leaves one person injured
    IRVINE One person was injured and taken to the hospital following a four-car crash Saturday, July 8.
    The accident, which occurred at 3:35 p.m., took place on the northbound lanes on the I-5 just north of the Jeffrey Road exit, California Highway Patrol officials said.
