  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The secretary of the New Mexico Human Services Department has been held in contempt of court.
  A federal judge said Secretary Brent Ernest and his agency have failed to comply with court orders to fix the way they distribute food stamps and Medicaid benefits.
  This all stems from a lawsuit from citizens who were wrongly denied emergency food benefits after employees falsified their applications to make it appear applicants had more income than they actually had.
