• Former Albuquerque Schools official found not guilty of child sexual assault

  DENVER, C.O. (KRQE) –  Former Deputy APS Superintendent Jason Martinez is not guilty of multiple child sex assault charges. A Denver jury acquitted Martinez Tuesday.
  Martinez was arrested in 2013 for allegedly sexually abusing two young boys in Colorado. In 2015, Martinez was hired by then superintendent Luis Valentino as his deputy.
  The charges surfaced after Martinez was with APS for six weeks and dodged a background check. Martinez then resigned.

  ALBUQUERQUE. N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque could be making more money on parking if they better monitored the meters, according to a new audit.
  As KRQE News 13 reported last month, many of the meters in downtown don’t work. Customers says some take payment twice some don’t take payment at all.
  According to an audit released just last week, more than half weren’t accepting payment at one point this year. In many cases because they were full.
