Linda Jean Goins, 67, of Fort Smith passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 16, 1949, in Rock Island to Lee and Doris Lorene (Ridenour) Parnell. She was a homemaker. Linda was the past president of the Razorback Lost Chord Club, a former director of the Good Samaritan Free Medical Clinic and a member of Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; one daughter, Virginia Lorene Goins; and her father, Lee Parnell.

Teresa Baker Littlefield, 61, of Higden, formerly of Fort Smith, went to be with her lord Friday, March 4, 2016. She was born Nov. 13, 1954, in Indiana to the late Floyd V. Baker and Connie G. Evans Baker. Teresa was the valedictorian and honor graduate of her class at Guy-Perkins High School. Louis “Lou” Edward Sax, 81, of Shawnee, Kan., passed away March 2, 2016, at Sharon Lane Nursing Home. He retired from General Motors after 32 years. He was married to Betty J. Parkinson Sax for 59 long and happy years. Louis was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of UAW.
