Jerry Mikel Bird, 37, of Greenwood passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016. He was born in Fort Smith and lived his life as though it were a great adventure. He loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He owned Advantage Appraisal, a real estate appraisal business. Edwin Andrew Glass, 63, passed away Jan. 23, 2016. He was born in Fort Smith, in 1952, to the late Cecil and Eunice Ryles Glass. In addition, he is preceded by one brother, Charles. He was a Baptist and was one of the early students of the Roger Bost School and was associated with ARC in the River Valley. Doris P. Hatcher, 91, of Paris passed away Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, in Fort Smith. She was born June 6, 1924, in Poteau to her parents Pink Marion and Ida Rose (Gabbard) Russell. She was retired from the pants factory in Paris and enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking and family gatherings. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pink Marion and Ida Rose (Gabbard) Russell; five sisters, Wanda Melton, Helen Smith, Florene Young, Ann Alston and Dessie Appleton; and three brothers, Joe Russell, I.D.
