JOAN C. KAUFMAN, 82, of Flynn Avenue, Plattsburgh, formerly of Perry's Mills, passed away Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. Calling hours will be  from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 21, at M.B. Clark Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain N.Y. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Steve Loan, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery on Church Street in Champlain. 

Carpenter, Fay Elizabeth Smith, 75, of Tulsa went to be with the lord Jan. 5, 2016, after a brief illness. Fay was born March 5, 1940, in Dawson Creek, Alberta, Canada, to Josephine and Erwin Michaels. She was a loving mother, enjoyed working in the customer service industry, never met a stranger and cherished all of her friendships.
