Millard O. Davis, 96, of Fort Smith passed away Dec. 31, 2015. He was born Oct. 15, 1919, in Ravenden Springs to parents Edgar Eugene and Leona (Allison) Davis. As a child, he loved hunting, fishing and playing baseball, and his best friend was his younger brother, Truman. Anthony and Bertha (Reitzke) Schmitz welcomed their daughter, Hilda Cecilia, into their family March 6, 1932, in Scranton. Alana Lynne Swafford of Jupiter, Fla., passed away and had her homecoming with the lord Jan. 9, 2015, at 60 years young. Alana was born March 20, 1954, in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, to Robert Speers (U.S. Army) and Ruth Speers (deceased).
