According to Bloody Disgusting, Wes Craven’s estate is now actively taking pitches for a new A Nightmare on Elm Street. The U.S. rights to the movie and to Freddy Krueger (who was created by Craven) were acquired by the estate about two months prior.
The outlet notes that Wes Craven’s estate is apparently interested in feature film pitches as well as pitches for a possible HBO Max series.
