    The doping case involving 2024 Bolivian Olympic swimmer Maria Jose Pinto Ribera has been settled.
    The Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled that Pinto will be ineligible until February 2026 after testing positive at the 2024 Paris Olympics for furomeside, a substance classified as capable of masking other drugs from the system.
    The 28-year-old Pinto was officially handed a 16-month ban effective Oct. 8, 2024 after being placed under a provincial suspension.
