  Kevin Donnelly, a former swimmer and coach with the Marlins of Raleigh, has been permanently suspended by USA Swimming for sexual misconduct.
  Donnelly, 29, was initially suspended on June 25 with the distinction that the case was subject to appeal and not yet final, but on Thursday, his status was updated to a permanent suspension from USA Swimming.

  Edina Swim Club (Minn.) has announced that head coach Jeff Rodriguez, who had served in the role for nearly 30 years, has been fired, effective immediately, after an investigation by the team’s Board found that he had been using the program’s funds for personal expenses.

  A Singaporean swim coach has been sentenced to two years in jail and three “strokes of the cane” for molesting a 10-year-old girl three times over a one-month period in 2023.
