An out-patient who raped a Birmingham City Hospital member of staff has been jailed for 12 years. Liam McCarthy (pictured), from West Bromwich, pleaded guilty to the assault that took place on 7 October. The 25-year-old had been waiting in the reception area when he followed a member of staff - who had just arrived for her shift - to a staff toilet and subjected her to a terryfying ordeal.
