Man jailed over Birmingham murder
A man has today been jailed for the murder of a Birmingham man who was found dead in an outbuilding. Akbar Khan, 20, of Carlton Road, Bordesley Green pleaded guilty to the murder and was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court today (18 December) to life with a minimum of 20 years.Zafran Nawaz’s body was found by officers wrapped in plastic sheeting in an outbuilding at a house on Carlton Road on 22 May after his family reported him missing. -
