Murder investigation launched after woman found dead in Tipton
A murder investigation is underway and a man is in police custody after a woman’s body was found at an address in Tipton yesterday afternoon (12 November). Police were called to the house on Standbridge Way at around 2.30pm by the ambulance service following a report of someone injured at the property.A woman in her forties was pronounced dead on arrival by paramedics and a 40-year-old man was immediately arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. -
Murder inquiry launched after body found in flat
Detectives have launched a murder inquiry after a man’s body was discovered in a Tipton flat on Wednesday (11 November).The death was treated as unexplained and a post mortem which took place yesterday afternoon (Thursday) revealed that the man died as a result of head injuries. Officers were called to the flat in Fisher Street just before 10.30am by the ambulance service.
