A Coventry man has been jailed for five years after beating a young man with learning difficulties, leaving him with a fractured cheekbone. Nigel Parsons, from Westmorland Road, Walsgrave, carried out the frenzied attack on the 26-year-old at his home after accusing him of stealing a torch in the early hours of 12 March. He attacked him with a snooker cue and punched and kicked him to the floor causing the fracture along with a broken nose and other facial cuts and bruising. -
