Officers have successfully worked ‘in tandem’ with a married couple to return a prized bicycle that was stolen from a Coventry church.The Claud Butler cycle, a make that was used by athletes at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, had been sent to the Jesus Army in Coventry for some much needed maintenance by owners Colin Ridley and his wife Huan.The couple sent the 76-year-old model to the church’s ‘Re-Cycle bike maintenance group’ as the brakes needed repairing.
