  Police have arrested a Birmingham man after he held two women hostage at a charity in Digbeth this afternoon (Wednesday 19 August).The man entered Bita Pathways on Alcester Street just after 3pm and held the women in an office for over four hours. It was not believed to be pre-meditated and the man was not armed before he entered the building.

  Police have released CCTV of three people they are trying to trace after a man was assaulted in Dudley last month. The 20-year-old was sitting in the shopping area in Wolverhampton Street around 9.30pm on Saturday 4 July when two men became abusive and attacked him, kicking him to his head and punching him in the face. A woman, who was with the men, is also sought as a witness to the attack.
