  A Birmingham man has been jailed for 21 years after violent attacks on two ex-girlfriends because he thought they had been cheating on him.Nathaniel Hamilton, from Acacia Avenue, Walsall, was found guilty of attempted murder, rape and assault earlier this month after a three week trial at Birmingham Crown Court. During sentencing today (17 July) he was also told that he will remain on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

  Police in Coventry are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in his own home by a group of men, who then stole property.The attack took place at 11.55pm on Tuesday 14 July.Four men, with their faces covered with scarves,  forced their way into the back of a property in Broome Croft, Holbrooks.  When  confronted by the 23-year-old tenant, they attacked him with a knife, causing multiple stab wounds.
