  Police have released an image of two men they want to speak to after a man was injured in an assault after the Aston Villa v Leicester City match. 
    
  At around 9:30pm on 7 December the 59-year-old was waiting at Aston railway station for his train home when two men approached him. Feeling uncomfortable he walked away but was followed by the pair. 
    
  The man ran and was chased before being punched several times and was cut on his face.  Passers-by intervened and the attackers ran off.

• Birmingham man jailed for historic sexual abuse

  A Birmingham man has been jailed for 17 years after a jury convicted him of historic sex offences. 
  
  John Franks, of Blandford Road, Quinton was sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on 16 February after an 11 day trial for the offences which happened over a period of 19 years between 1990 and 2009.
