• Wolverhampton drug dealer jailed following pro-active policing operation

    A Wolverhampton drug dealer has been sentenced to five years in prison after being caught with Class A drugs worth around £2,500 and criminal assets of more than £50,000. 

    Officers stopped Nathan Campbell, aged 24, of Marsh Lane, Fordhouses, in his Audi on the Bridgnorth Road on 8 November, during a policing operation to tackle criminality in Whitmore Reans and after police inquiries suggested he could be carrying drugs. 
  • Image released after Coventry shop assistant racially abused

    CCTV of a woman suspected of racially abusing a Coventry shop assistant has been released in a bid to trace her.

    Police were called to investigate on 29 November after the 38-year-old assistant got into a disagreement with a customer over a refund at the city’s New Look store.
  • Boy, 5, injured in non-stop collision

    Traffic police are appealing for witnesses to a non-stop collision in Birmingham, in which a five-year-old boy suffered a broken leg.

    The youngster was crossing Hamstead Road with his mother, on a pedestrian crossing, when he was hit by a red car.
